Celebrate Bealtaine with Mitchelstown Library

For Bealtaine Festival, Ireland’s national celebration of arts and creativity, an introductory Textiles Workshop takes place in Mitchelstown Library this Thursday (12th).

The workshop, taking place in the late afternoon, will be facilitated by Katie Nolan and participants will get the chance to explore weaving, crocheting, knitting and macramé, with a focus on texture and colour theory.

No experience is required and people at all levels of competence are welcome to join in this free event. The workshop takes place over the next four weeks, beginning on Thursday 12th from 3.30pm to 5.30pm.
