LIFE SKILLS WEEK AT DARIA’S

-

LEARNING LIFE SKILLS - All school-aged children at Daria’s Afterschool in Fermoy were learning about water safety on the beach/holidays/at the swimming pool/water safety beside the rivers or during bath time. We’ve discussed the importance of maintaining water safety rules such as wearing a life jacket, arm bands and the importance of adult supervision, such as a parent or a lifeguard who needs to supervise us at all times when we are getting in to water or close to the water. We were also talking about the awareness of using the life saver ring and we went through different scenarios where we could potentially use it. Well done to all the afterschoolers in Fermoy!
