Public submissions invited for Kilfinane refurbishment
Limerick City and County Council have opened up to the public submissions process for development at numbers 2A and 2B on the High Street in Kilfinane. The council plan to refurbish the existing properties, combining them into one.
A contractor was sought in January to undertake the works on the properties, which were acquired under the Buy and Renew Scheme in July 2020.
The council has carried out an Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Screening Report and determined that there is unlikely to be an environmental impact from the development. Nonetheless, the public has four weeks to apply to An Bord Pleanála for a screening determination.
Plans for the development are available at Limerick council’s offices online at mypoint. limerick.ie, or at offices in Limerick City. Submissions and observations in relation to the proposed development may be made in writing to The Planning and Environmental Services Department, Limerick City and County Council Offices, Dooradoyle Road, Limerick, V94 WV78, or by email to planning@limerick.ie - on or before 4pm on the 20th June.
