JAKE PUTS ON A SHOW FOR COLÁISTE STUDENTS

-

On Thursday last Jake Carter the younger brother of Nathan delighted students by making a visit to Coláiste an Chraoibhín, Fermoy. Jake played four songs to a packed hall to promote an up and coming concert in Fermoy. Students were delighted with the visit and appreciated the opportunity of a live gig. Live gigs are all the more appreciated since the lifting of the restrictions.

Ms Lawton commented ‘It was a wonderful opportunity to have Jake Carter perform for our students. Throughout Covid, the Arts have struggled greatly and it was a challenging period in the music classroom. I was delighted to welcome a talented, hard-working and ambitious musician to our new musical theatre space.

Jake is an inspiration to our students and we wish him the best of luck with his tour.’

A fabulous afternoon was had by all. Jake called to Cope Foundation Fermoy afterwards to visit the clients there. A big thanks to Ms Lawton for arranging the event. Audiences will have another opportunity to see him live at The Fermoy Community Youth Centre on 14th May.
