Eilish’s dilemna

Eilish O’Carroll, sister of Brendan, creator and star of Mrs Brown’s Boys and famed for her role as Winnie, is considering tying the knot with her girlfriend Marion to avoid the taxman. It’s not just that Eilish is anxious to walk down the aisle but she’ll be damned if her hard-earned cash finds its way into the pockets of the taxman.

Eilish and Marion have discussed the matter. Eilish was originally married and has two sons from that relationship. Partner Marion has her own property in Cork, where they both have lived for some years. However Eilish’s work meant she was travelling to and from the capital so she bought a house in Dublin’s North Strand area. She still commutes to Cork where she has many friends.

She decided she needed a reason for rising in the morning so she bought a 14 month old dog she calls Jacko. Eilish will be starring in ‘Waiting for Gateaux’ with X-Factor’s Mary Byrne in a play in Portlaoise with the possibility of a nationwide tour.
