Persuasive writing

1st and 2nd class have been learning about persuasive writing. They have written a persuasive piece about ‘Why Teachers Should Not Give Homework.’

I believe teachers should not give homework. If children did not have homework they could spend more time with their pets. Children are already learning in school for six hours every day.

That is ENOUGH! I need time for my four hobbies each week. Children could spend more time with their parents if they did not have homework.

I hope I have persuaded teachers to not give homework.
