MITCHELSTOWN LADIES FOOTBALL
A busy time for the U12s. Last week St Mary’s were the visitors for a North Cork League match. On Monday the girls played a challenge match against neighbours Galtee Gaels in O’Connell Park. Through the years both clubs have proved tough opponents, and this year is no different. Both games were well contested, with the Mitchelstown girls putting in great performances.
The U9s and U10s travelled to
Mallow on Sunday morning in great numbers. Both sides played some great football. The coaches are delighted with how their skills are developing. Keep up the good work.
FUNCHEON GAELS LADIES FOOTBALL
The Funcheon Gaels Junior team hosted Dromtarriffe on Monday. In a tight contest, the defences came out on top, with both sides finding scores difficult to come by. The match ended in a draw, 0-7 apiece.
