SENIOR AND JUNIOR FOOTBALL

Our senior ladies team kicked off their league campaign on Sunday, May 1st at home to Aghada. This was a close encounter with the home side coming out on top by a two point margin Bride Rovers 2-10 Aghada 2-06. Next day out for this team is away to Glanmire at 3pm.

Our junior team travelled to Dunmanway on Sunday, May 8th to play Dohenys in the second round of the league. Despite putting in a great effort, they were beaten on the day by the home side.

MINOR CAMOGIE

On Monday, May 2nd our minor camogie panel travelled to Kilworth to play their second league game. Unfortunately, this was a very one-sided affair with Kilworth coming out on top by a comprehensive margin.

Our second game against Ballyhea on Tuesday at Pyne’s was much more competitive. Taking a strong lead in the first half, the visitors were leading 3-03 to 0-04. However, Rovers came out stronger and more determined in the second half and narrowed the margin to just four points on the final whistle on a scoreline of 6-06 to 3-11.

U16 LADIES FOOTBALL

Our U16s had a great win over Youghal at home on Monday. The visitors had a substantial lead at half-time, 2-05 to 0-02. However, the Rovers girls put in huge work and team effort to pull off a super comeback and secure the win. Full-time score Bride Rovers 3-09 Youghal 2-06.
