CAVANAGH’S OF FERMOY DIVISION 2 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
We had a busy week on the football front with games against both Abbey Rovers/Castletownroche and Grange. On home ground Tuesday 3rd, we played Abbey Rovers. The opening of the game saw a strong display from our opponents but we soon came into the game and favourably went into half time on a 2-3 to 0-3 scoreline.
We settled well and hit our stride in the second half of the game, with solid displays across the field. At full-time the scoreline stood at 2-11 to 1-8.
Our young guns are integrating well into the team and are being well supported by the experience across the team.
