Mitchelstown graveyard clean-up on Tuesday
On Tuesday evening last week, a large and welcome crowd of 35 people turned out to New Square in Mitchelstown to help in the clean-up of the town. This coming Tuesday hopes are high for a similar turnout for the clean-up of the graveyard on Church Hill.
Starting at 6pm, Mitchelstown Community Council are asking anyone who has an hour free to come and help in the tidying of the graveyard, and are making a special request for people to look after the graves of those with no-one left to look after them.
Any help that can be offered next Tuesday evening would be greatly appreciated by the community council, and they thank everyone who have turned out so far this year to keep the town tidy.
