CBS Primary take part in Peace Proms

Last Saturday morning, some of the 4th class boys from CBS Primary, Mitchelstown headed to UL to perform with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland, along with many other primary schools.

The boys had been rehearsing for months, under the guidance of Ms Elaine O’Gorman, Ms Pamela O’Regan and Ms Lianne O’Callaghan.

They sang eight songs, many of which included dance routines. We are grateful to Ms Hennessy and Mr O’Regan (class teachers) who went to see the show, as well as the parents who travelled on the day. We hope you all enjoyed the performance!

PARENT’S COUNCIL RESCHEDULED SPONSORED WALK

Our rescheduled sponsored walk will take place next Tuesday, May 24th at 7pm from CBS Primary. Refreshments will be available back at the school afterwards. All are most welcome to take part! Please support.
