Two injured in Mitchelstown collision
Gardaí are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred in Mitchelstown on Sunday, 15th May at approximately 10.50am. It is understood that the incident occurred in an alley off of New Square in the town, writes Marian Roche.
Gardaí have confirmed that on the morning in question a van collided with two pedestrians. One male and one female, both in their 40s, were taken to Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, but are believed to be non-life threatening.
Investigations are ongoing into the incident.
