Castlelyons Community Centre celebrating 50 years with ‘Memories and Milestones’
Join us on Friday, June 3rd for an evening of nostalgia, food, music and entertainment celebrating 50 years of Castlelyons Community Centre. The Community Centre was officially opened on Friday, June 3rd, 1972. Now, 50 years later, join us as we officially reopen after recent renovations and take a trip down memory lane where we will recall so many wonderful memories from the early days, Spring Fever productions and Strictly Castlelyons.
Spitting Pig BBQ based in Ballincollig, Cork one of the most experienced hog roast barbecue company in the country will be providing the food. A bespoke cake masterfully created by local Noelle Morrison will be cut on the night.
Keeping it local, Padraig O’Brien and daughter Ellie will delight the audience with beautiful music. Closing out the evening, videoclips of the fantastic Spring Fever and Strictly Castlelyons productions.
Memories and Milestones, will be a simple and enduring combination of ingredients: food, friends, conversation and entertainment celebrating 50 years of the Community Centre. This an open invitation to all the community, whether you are new to the parish or here many a year, do come down and help mark the occasion of 50 years.
