Munster final qualifications

The countdown is on around the villages of Ballylanders and Garryspillane as a lot of bearded men have less than two weeks to go before they will be clean shaven again.

Saturday, May 28th promises to be a fantastic night’s entertainment in our clubhouse with the legend podcast trio of Anthony Daly, TJ Ryan and Mark Landers there discussing all things hurling including the build-up to this year’s Munster final between Limerick and Clare plus Tómas O/Sé will be there to discuss the football final which will be played earlier that day in Killarney between Limerick and Kerry.

Entry to this event is free with full bar facilities available. The response to the raffle tickets has been fantastic so far and with tickets for the All-Ireland hurling final and Garth Brooks concert they are great value and can be purchased from any members.

So please come along and remember our great clubman Dave Walsh with his family and friends.

SOUTH LEAGUE

Our senior footballers wrapped up their involvement in the South league last Friday evening with a local derby v Galbally in what was a evenly fought contest with Galbally just edging it in the end by two points. Full time Ballylanders 1-11 Galbally 2-10.

Well done to both our county football and hurling teams who qualified for the Munster finals over the weekend, we wish them the best of luck over the coming weeks.
