U16 FOOTBALL

Well done to our U16 footballers who pulled off a super comeback against Youghal in the football league. Trailing by nine points at half-time, the girls gradually chipped away at the opponents’ lead and came out eventual winners on a score line of 3-09 to 2-06.

U18 CAMOGIE

Our minor camogie team lined out at home on Thursday last for their league game against Nemo. This was a very competitive and tough battle with the score at half-time Bride Rovers 1-03 to Nemo 1-05. However, the girls dug deep in the second half to win by the narrowest of margins Bride Rovers 1-09 to Nemo 1-08.

SENIOR LADIES

Our senior team played their second game of the league at home on Sunday against Glanmire. The visitors led well at half-time with Rovers unlucky not to convert a few goal chances. The score at the half-time whistle was Bride Rovers 0-06 to Glanmire 2-08. However, the home side made quite a strong comeback in the second half and notched up a couple of goals and six points but it wasn’t enough to secure a victory and Glanmire won by a goal - final score Bride Rovers 2-12 Glanmire 3-12.
