State of play
With the season nearing an end for our schoolboy and schoolgirl teams, some of our teams are still in contention for honours or promotion.
Our U12A team secured promotion at least on Sunday last with a good result away to Greenwood. Our other U12 team are also in with a chance of promotion as well, after securing a valuable point at home to Midleton on Saturday last at Brigown. Our U14A side are also in with a shout of finishing 2nd in their division and our U16A team also have a chance of promotion, but need other results to go their way.
On Sunday afternoon last our
U15 girls team contested the plate final against Lakewood at St Colman’s Park in Cobh. This was a great occasion for the squad and management and even though Lakewood were a premier division side, the Park girls worked tirelessly on the big pitch, eventually losing on a 4-0 scoreline.
Tough luck to Matt and his fellow mentors and squad, it wasn’t to be but the whole occasion will stand to the girls over time.

CLUB DEVELOPMENT
Our new all-weather facility development will start in mid-July. We are hopeful of having the project complete by early September. We will be launching our fundraiser called ‘Pitch in for Park’ in the next couple of weeks and will be grateful of any sponsorship we receive.
WEEKLY LOTTO
No winner. There was no 3-in-arow of winners on Monday night last when the numbers drawn (2, 12, 24, 25) yielded no winner. Next week’s jackpot now stands at €1,150.
