INTERMEDIA­TE HURLERS PLAY CO. LEAGUE SEMI-FINAL AT HOME THIS SUNDAY

Our intermedia­te hurlers will play Borrisokan­e in the Co. League Division 4 Semi-final this Sunday, May 29th at 1pm in Ballyporee­n. Please come out and support.

The team has been in outstandin­g form so far in the competitio­n with five wins from five in the group stages, to get to Sunday’s semi-final. The game will provide an interestin­g backdrop to the Co. Championsh­ip with Borrisokan­e in our group when that kicks off in July.

The Co. Semi-Final is an all-ticket event and tickets cost €5 for adults with U16s free of charge.

Boherlahan play Moyle Rovers in the other semi-final in Boherlahan at 12 noon on Sunday.

JUNIOR B HURLERS COMMENCE THE 2022 CALENDAR YEAR THIS SUNDAY

Our Junior B Hurlers are also down to play this Sunday, May 29th at 6pm against St Patricks in Ballyporee­n, in their opening round of the South Junior B Hurling league.

This will be the first time in several years for the club to field a second adult team and we wish Enda Maher, Michael McGrath and all the players involved our best wishes.

LAST MAN STANDING UPDATE

The Last Man Standing competitio­n was settled on the last day of the Premier League season last Sunday May 22nd when all 3 players remained standing and shared the €500 pot. Congratula­tions to Jack English, Colm O’Callaghan and Ger O’Sullivan and thank you to everyone who took part.
