Our 9 hole s/ford competition for the second two weeks of May continues until Tuesday, 31st May. Entry/re-entry.
Foursomes Club Championship Matchplay – Round 3 commenced on Monday, 23rd May and is to be played by Sunday, 5th June with semi-finals commencing on Monday, 6th June.
MIXED CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP MATCHPLAY
The draw for the mixed club championship has now been made and is posted in the clubhouse and on master scoreboard, please contact opposing team and make arrangements for round 1 to be completed by Sunday, 5th June.
This Friday, 27th May our Friday evening mixed continues at 6pm; also senior golf continues every Thursday at 10am.
Our joint vice captains’ prize presented by Angela O’Hara and Gary Baverstock will be held on Friday 3rd – Sunday, 5th June with a presentation of prizes and live music on Sunday night. The timesheet for the ladies is posted in the club house - please fill your name in for the draw by 25th May.

TEAM UPDATES
Hard luck to our Challenge Cup team who were beaten by Tramore at their home venue on Saturday. We won 2 out of 5 matches which is a great result on a tough Tramore course. The girls had a great day and the experience gained from the occasion will stand to us for next year.
Well done team to manager Joan Cahillane and her mentors Patricia Lonergan and Siobhan Moroney and her Players Megan Glavin, Chrissie Denn, Victoria Lee O’Rourke, Margaret Cashell and Marita Kelly and the wonderful caddies Betty Daly, Alison Power, Patricia Draddy and Peter Whelan and to the supporters who travelled down. Regardless of the result a great day was had by all.

Ladies, if you had ever thought of taking up golf, now is the time to do it, our lady captain Patricia O’Neill and any committee member would be delighted to take out potential members and showcase our beautiful course!
