Our club AGM took place on Wednesday, the 8th with a great number of club members in attendance.

Thanks to all the officers for their commitment and for their comprehens­ive reports of our 2022 year.

WINTER LEAGUE PHASE II

We had two teams in action last Sunday in Mitchelsto­wn Tennis Club. First at 10am our Grade 6 ladies team had a mighty 4-0 win v Youghal. At 2.30 our Grade 2 mens team had a great start to their campaign with a 3-1 win v Limerick Lawn Tennis Club, well done to both teams.

JUNIOR NEWS

Our junior members returned to coaching sessions this week with great enthusiasm lead by club coach Stephen McInerney. Our weekend junior matchplay returns soon full details to be announced. A bright future ahead for MLTC.

Finally, the club wants to send our best wishes to club member and treasurer Dermot O’Donovan for a speedy recovery following a recent injury.
