Come for a walk with Kilworth Ladies Football and Kilworth Camogie

-

We are hoping as many people as possible come out and join us on Saturday, 18th February at 10am to join in a walk to show local support for the #SheWasGoingForARun Campaign.

This campaign aims to end violence against woman by raising awareness, fundraising, sharing online content and community building in support of Women’s Aid. The walk will start and finish at the Kilworth GAA pitch, and we will complete a loop of around 4km. All you must do is turn up Saturday morning, no sign up is required.

If you would like to make a donation to Women’s Aid, we will have a collection bucket at the pitch Saturday morning or you can make a donation online. Funds raised will go to Women’s Aid.

Women’s Aid is a national frontline organisation working to prevent and address the impact of domestic violence and abuse. Women’s Aid works to make a safe environment for women and children who face domestic violence and abuse. We are asking you all to come together and stand up for all women. Every person who takes part is making a difference. Hope to see you all walking with us on Saturday, 18th February.

NEW AND EXISTING PLAYERS ALL WELCOME

The Junior ladies team resumed training on Thursday, 9th February. Training was a great success, and the girls and management are delighted to be back playing football. We would absolutely love to see some new players getting involved with our wonderful team. Come along to training and try it out!

Training is on Thursdays in the pitch training area at 7pm and on Sunday mornings in the astroturf pitch at 10am. We look forward to hopefully seeing more success for the girls on the playing field this year.

VOTES OF SYMPATHY

The club would like to express sympathies to the Kenny and Corbett family, Kilworth and the Moakley family, Kilworth following their recent bereavements.
