FR DICK KELLY

Lovely to see Fr Kelly back at Mass on Sunday morning along with Fr Egan. Keep up the good work of recovery Fr Kelly. Hopefully, it will not be too long before you are back to normal duties.

ICA

ICA back on track for 2023. We had the pleasure of the company of our Federation president, Carol O’Keeffe and Federation treasurer, Anne Gabbett at our February meeting. A lengthy discussion was had on the happenings within ICA. There have been some rumblings of late of irregularities within the organisation. Questions were asked by members and answered to the best of the belief of our two guests.

ICA was formed in Kilbehenny on the 6th October, 1977. That’s 46 years of friendship, comradeship and generally being there for each other. During that time we have had many guests out to give talks on every topic that could be thought of. We have travelled the length and breadth of the country on our 3/4 day tours. The Kilbehenny ICA have done it all.

We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for 10 months. We have knitting on the 3rd Tuesday of each month also. At our last meeting we were very pleased to welcome Marisa Brophy to the fold. May you enjoy your time with us Marisa.

ICA TOUR 2023

Our tour for 2023 is taking us to lovely Westport, Co Mayo - a delightful part of our country. We will be staying in Wyatt’s Hotel. Our tour is from Tuesday, 6th June to Thursday, 8th June (3 days, 2 nights). If anybody is interested, please phone Mary on 087-2422660 for more information.
