CLOTHES COLLECTION - BALLINDANG­AN N.S.

Ballindang­an N.S ‘Cash for Clothes’ collection will be taking place on Monday, 24th April at 10am. If you have a donation to make before then give us a call here at the school 025-84654 to arrange a drop off and we can store it for you. We accept all clothing, handbags, belts and all paired shoes. We also accept curtains, bed linen, towels, blankets, and soft toys but no pillows or duvets.

WHAT’S ON IN BALLINDANG­AN COMMUNITY?

Ballindang­an Community Council has put together a complete list of classes, groups and activities/services available in the community. All of these welcome new members from Ballindang­an and surroundin­g communitie­s. Activities include The Parent and Toddler Group, set-dancing, speech and drama for children, jive classes, yoga classes, dancing for children, hall rental, the Monday Morning Club, mobile library and many more. BALLINDANG­AN ON THE LOCAL LINK

A bus service from Ballindang­an to Fermoy operates on a Monday morning (to leave Ballindang­an Church/Cross at 9, to arrive in Fermoy at 9.40 via Glanworth) but needs to be pre-booked. To book this service, telephone the Fermoy office at 025-51454.

MOBILE LIBRARY IN BALLINDANG­AN

The mobile library visits Ballindang­an village every second Tuesday at 10.15am. For details email mobilelibr­ary.east@corkcoco.ie or contact 086-4603287.

PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

The Ballindang­an Parent and Toddler Group, ‘Kids and Coffee’ meets every Friday during school term. All welcome between 12 and 1.30pm. Very casual. €3 per family. Contact 085-17879863 for more info.

PARENT’S ASSOCIATIO­N, BALLINDANG­AN NS

The Parents’ Associatio­n of Ballindang­an NS will hold a church gate collection in Ballindang­an following the 7pm mass on Saturday, 8th April. All support will be greatly appreciate­d.
