CONGRATULATIONS TO MITCHELSTOWN CBS

Heartiest congratulations to Mitchelstown C.B.S. on winning the All-Ireland Senior C Schools hurling final last Saturday March 18, in Dublin. Well done goes to the local man Cían Ryan from Ballafaskin who was on the winning side. Cían plays his club hurling with the Garryspillane club and his football with Galtee Gales. Well done and congratulations Cían.

45 CARD GAME

Now with the long evenings in, you might fancy a game of 45 in your local areas. Ballinvreena 45 takes place on a Monday night at 8.30pm, you can head to Knockcarron on a Tuesday night at 8.30pm and the Day Care Centre in Ballylanders is the venue for their cards on a Wednesday night at 8.30pm.
