For the month of March only at Mitchelsto­wn Lawn Tennis Club we are offering annual membership renewals for 2023-2024 at our current rate. On the 1st of April due to increased costs associated with running the club, fees will be increasing for the first time since 2017. This is an offer not to be missed, the fantastic facilities at Mitchelsto­wn Lawn Tennis Club rival any other club in the county and beyond. We look forward to welcoming many new members to join our club.

Coaching for adult members will commence Tuesday 28th, coaching is for both beginners and intermedia­tes and will run two days per week of which you can choose between Tuesdays or Wednesdays subject to demand. SOCIAL TENNIS EVENING

Friday 6.30pm - 8.30pm for beginners and new members of all levels and grades. We welcome anyone who wishes to try tennis and check out our great club and facilities.

WINTER LEAGUE PHASE II

On Saturday our Grade 5 men travelled to Lombardsto­wn playing against the home side they had a fantastic 3-1 win and now qualify out of their group.

On Sunday morning our Grade 5 ladies travelled to Kilfeacle playing Kilfeacle they had mighty games with a 2-2 result unfortunat­ely this was not enough to qualify bringing their Winter League Phase II campaign to an end.

On Sunday afternoon our Grade 3 ladies played at home v Kilfeacle. They had a lengthy battle with great tennis. The result was 2-2, this was also their last game of the group stages. Unfortunat­ely, the ladies did not qualify out of their group. Well done to all our Winter League players.

JUNIOR NEWS

Our junior coaching sessions continue every Tuesday and Wednesday lead by Club Coach Stephen McInerney. Our junior tennis continues every Sunday morning. Red ball 5-8 years 9.30am to 10.30am. Orange/Green Ball 9-12years 10.30am-11.30am.
