Sad passing of dedicated Mitchelstown GAA man

-

The club was saddened on Saturday morning when the news broke that Jim Moher had passed to his eternal rest.

Jim was a dedicated GAA man all his life and received the President’s Award for his dedication a few years ago. He won North Cork Junior football medals in 1956, 1957, 1958, 1960 and 1961 and was part of the panel that brought the first county Junior Football title to town.

He served as club chairman in 1972-1974 and took the role of vice-chairman in 1975-1976. He was a life vice-president.

To his wife Peggy, his sons, daughters, extended family and huge circle of GAA friends we offer our sincere sympathy. Ar dheis Dé go rabh a anam dílis.
