EAST CORK OIL U12 LEAGUE

Our U12 team finished their season with a victory while our U16 team went down by the odd goal in five in the direct local league.

Mogeely 0 Brideview Utd 3

Our final league game saw our boys turn in a terrific performance to go out on a high. David Murphy and Oscar Cunningham were well on top in midfield. Adam Forbes and Sean Moore were in top form in defence. Isaac Doyle grabbed two goals here with Oscar Cunningham also getting a goal.

Well done to everyone involved with this squad over the last few months. Not forgetting the coaches who were there for training and matches. Then the players who were excellent for the season. No trophies folks but it’s not all about that, it’s about taking part. Thanks a lot.

U16 DIRECT LOCAL CUP Corinthian Boys A 3 Brideview Utd 2

Our U16 team travelled to Cork on Sunday morning last and turned in a powerful performance before going down by the odd goal in five. The boys can now turn their attention to the league where they are league leaders. Ty Corcoran was in form scoring both of Utd’s goals.

Corinthian Boys A are one of the top clubs in the CSL so this was a great result for our boys who can now go on and win the league.

Utd’s squad: Alex Good, Jack Henley, Gearoid Hynes, Billy Murphy, Isaac Almeida, Joseph McDonnell, Dean Cronin, Ty Corcoran, David Wall, Brian O’Sullivan, Danny Power, Xander van de Ven, Roy Nugent, Brian Bourke, Nathan Mason, Sean Murphy, Aiden Murphy.
