Great show from our U15s

Well done to our U15s who took part in the John West Féile competitio­n in SETU Carriganor­e on Saturday, 15th April. Despite missing a few regulars, our girls played 3 great matches against Butlerstow­n, Portlaw and Abbeyside and played their hearts out. A great afternoon was had by all. Thanks to our coaches Trevor, Mag and Jackie for looking after the girls on the day and to all the parents who travelled to support.

CONGRATULA­TIONS AND BEST WISHES

Well done to Niamh Ryan who was part of the Waterford Minor camogie team that beat Tipperary on Sunday, 16th April in the All Ireland A Minor Championsh­ip. The result sees them qualify for the All-Ireland A semi-final next weekend against Galway/Cork. Well done Niamh and very best of luck in the next stage. We would encourage everyone to attend the semi-final to cheer on Niamh and her teammates as they bid for a spot in this year’s All-Ireland A Camogie final. (Venue tbc so keep an eye online).
