JUVENILES NEWS

Our U16 had a super victory over Doneraile in the D3 Hurling league on Sunday last. With only a few of these boys up to the age, a great future ahead! Our U14 football girls had a very convincing win over Castlemagner on Sunday in the third round of the North Cork D2 football league. Well done girls.

JUNIOR LADIES FB LEAGUE

Our junior football ladies were out in the North Cork Football league on Sunday against Mitchelstown. This was a very closely contested game and the first time for both sides to meet after combined team Funcheon Gaels disbanded this year.

We were missing a number of our experienced girls through injury and exams. Great credit due to our young 14/15 year olds who stepped up to the plate and left very little between the sides. Mitchelstown took the win on this occasion by a narrow 2 point lead.
