The Fred Perry team who secured an extensive win over Kinsale GC, winning 4/1 on Saturday, 8th April will meet Cork Golf Club in Fermoy for their next round.
BUSY WEEKEND FOR THE TEAMS
Last weekend saw several teams playing. The first of those was the Fred Daly team (U18) versus Cork in Cork GC on Saturday, April 15th.
The ladies were equally out in full strength with matches in Monkstown and Kinsale. Sunday, April 16th we had the mixed foursomes versus Monkstown in Monkstown GC and Sunday, April 16th also saw the Mary Mckenna Team playing against Kinsale in Kinsale GC.
Hard luck to the mixed team who lost to the home team in Monkstown, and commiserations as well to the Mary McKenna team who were beaten by the home team in Kinsale. Better luck next time when the team take on Kinsale again in Fermoy in the home leg on April 29th. We wish them every success.
