Ballylooby NS U11 hurlers win their blitz

Congratula­tions to the Ballylooby NS U11B1 hurling team on winning their blitz. The boys played some excellent hurling to come on top in both matches against Newport BNS and Tipperary CBS. These boys have now qualified for the county final, which will be played in Semple Stadium at the end of May. Well done to all the boys involved! Ballylooby NS abú!

Well done to our school U13 hurling team who are through to a county semi-final after 2 good victories over Cahir National School and Clerihan National School respective­ly in Clerihan Friday morning.

WELL DONE U15

Well done to our U15s who reached the Peil na nÓg final by topping our group Saturday morning in Clogheen. The lads now played Boherlahan Dualla in the final at Dr Morris Park on Monday, 1st May and results will be in next week’s update.

Hard luck to our U13 footballer­s who lost out in the South Final Sunday evening in Clonmel. A hardfought game where it just didn’t work out for our lads on the day. A big well done to all the players, parents, and management for their

efforts during the season. Finally well done to Mullinahon­e and we wish them well as they now advance to a County semi-final.

Congratula­tions to our U13 player Jack Galvin who has been selected to play in goal for the Tipperary Primary Schools Go Games hurling team. Jack will play against Cork during the half-time interval of the MSHC match Tipperary v Cork in Páirc Uí Chaoimh next Saturday evening, 7pm throw-in. On the behalf of the club we say well done on your achievemen­t and we hope you enjoy the experience.

Ballylooby/Castlegrac­e GAA will be hosting the Tipperary GAA Clubs Draw on Friday, 5th May in No.22 The Abbey, Cahir, starting at 8pm. John and Eleanor Connolly will be presented with their first prize from last month’s draw, and Larry Fitzgerald will receive the seller’s prize. The event will be live on Tipp FM at 8.30pm. Please join us for a great night.
