Ger Daly wins Toss Bryan competition
Last weekend we had the Toss Bryan competition. The weather was great for it and well done to all who took part. The overall winner was Ger Daly with a score of 43 nett. Well done Ger. Ger plays in all competitions and is not long a member so it’s great to see new faces winning. We are delighted for him, keep up the good play.

LADIES REPORT
Anne Daly and Nora O’Driscoll sponsored the ladies’ competition held on April 25th. This was our first night back and it was great to see a good turnout. Despite the cold weather all the ladies enjoyed their game and the course was in great condition.
Thanks to Anne and Nora for their continued support of the club and also the lovely prizes for the competition. Both of these ladies are great members of our club who participate in competitions and give a helping hand when needed.
Congratulations and well done to winners on the night who were Theresa O’Keeffe and Nora O’Driscoll 44 nett, they beat Frances Tobin and Beth Power on the back 6s. Thanks to everyone who played and who honoured the competition, also to the ladies who did the draw and Nora Moriarty for doing the teas.
On behalf of all the ladies we would like to wish good luck to all our members playing in the Munster matchplay qualifying being held in Fermoy on Sunday, 7th May.
MUNSTER MATCHPLAY QUALIFYING
This Sunday we have a number of gents taking part in the Munster matchplay qualifying in Fermoy in the intermediate and senior sections best of luck to all them. Please note on Saturday, 6th May the course will be closed to get it ready.
THREEBALL RESULTS Last Friday we had a 3-ball with two scores to count. The overall winners were Daniel Keohane, Ronan Ryan and Anthony Ronan. Well done to them and all that took part. On Monday we had a 4-ball and the overall winners were Ger Daly and Pat Costigan 35 nett.
The gross winners were Theresa O’Keeffe and Daniel Keohane 54 gross. Well done to all.
UPCOMING EVENTS
On this Friday night we will have a club 4-ball at 7pm, can members please support. There will be no weekend competition as the qualifying for the gents’ Munster matchplay is on Sunday, 7th May. Our Wednesday morning game will go ahead every Wednesday morning.
There is a club matchplay starting up soon. The closing date is 7th May and the sheet is up in the clubhouse. It’s a scratch matchplay and a handicap matchplay. Please put your name down. The club haven't had a matchplay in ages so good to see it back and best of luck to all.
