COW SPLAT FUNDRAISER FAST APPROACHING

-

The Board of Management at St. Patrick’s National School in Glanworth are preparing for their upcoming school fundraiser ‘Cow Splat Bingo’ on Saturday, June 10th. The event will be livestreamed at 3pm on their fundraiser Facebook page ‘St. Patrick’s National School - Glanworth Cow Splat Bingo Fundraiser 2023’.

There is a great sense of excitement and community spirit leading up to this event.

WHAT IS COW SPLAT BINGO?

Cow Splat Bingo is a fundraising event played in rural areas across the world. This event is to raise funds for St. Patrick’s National School (Glanworth).

A field of grass is marked out with a square grid. Each square on the grid is assigned a number, three cows are led into the field and allowed to roam around. When a cow drops a ‘ cow splat’ (i.e takes a poop) the square on which it lands is the winning square. The winning square (where the majority of the cow dung lands) will receive a cash prize of €600, while the closest 8 squares to the winning square will win €50 each.

Fr Michael Corkery PP is the adjudicator and his decision will be final. Tickets cost €10 each - you can purchase as many tickets as you wish. Tickets can be purchased by contacting the school 025-38404 or through Flynn’s shop (Day Today) in Glanworth Village.

WHERE IS THE EVENT BEING HELD?

The event will be held at a secret location on a farm in Glanworth on Saturday, June 10th at 3pm. Please note that the event is not open to the public. St. Patrick’s National School BOM will contact all prize winners on the day of the event to arrange payment of prize monies.

Don’t forget to purchase your ticket to be in with a good chance of winning €600 or €50. We are looking forward to the big event.
