LET’S PLAY DARTS!

A Darts Tournament in aid of Blackwater Sub Aqua Search and Rescue will take place in The Log Cabin on Saturday, 10th June. Entry is €10. It is a round robin tournament, double in, double out. A raffle will also take place on the day with the top prize of a Waterford jersey. For more details, contact Richie Whelan.

The numbers drawn on 23rd May were 6, 14, 19 and 30. There was no winner. The lucky €30 draw winners were Eileen Coughlan, Don Kenneally, Liam McNamara and Imelda Connern. The results of the draw on 30th May with a Jackpot of €4,200 in next week’s notes.

BUS SERVICE

The bus service is still available in the village. Please call Austin O’Brien on 0872256666 to book your space. On Friday, it goes to Dungarvan, departs River Action at 9.30am and leaves Dungarvan circa 2pm. Every second Tuesday alternates to Youghal or Midleton departing River Action at 9.30am and leaves the destinatio­n at 1pm. This service is run by Local Link, free for those with a travel pass and €5 for anyone else. ‘Booze Bus’ is available every Saturday night. Get picked up and dropped home for only €6 return. Spaces must be prebooked.
