U10 hurlers progress at Ballyduff Tournament

Lismore U10 hurling team have qualified for the knockout stages of the annual Ballyduff Tournament after overcoming strong challenges from Ballyduff, Watergrasshill and Fermoy. They will play Holycross/Ballycahill in the semi-final this Saturday at 10am in Ballyduff. Best of luck.

FUNDING BOOST FOR WATERFORD PROJECTS UNDER COMMUNITY RECOGNITION FUND

A much welcome funding boost has been received for the Lismore Community Centre under the Community Recognition Fund in Waterford. This will enable the upgrade of facilities in the community centre and allow our fellow clubs and associations within the town to enjoy the centre. Currently, Lismore Badminton Club, Blackwater Athletic Club, Acrobatic Rock n' Roll Irish Association, Lismore AFC Girls, Lismore Tennis Club, Eric O'Sullivan Fitness, FÁS and Lismore GAA use the centre.

Lismore GAA Club would like to extend its deepest sympathies to the O’Donnell family following the recent death of Ann O’Donnell, Monatarrive, Lismore. tion. The County final took place at the SETU Arena, Carriganore on Tuesday, 30th May. Michael lives and breathes hurling and we know he would have mounted a serious challenge for the title. Congratulations Michael.

Shane Landers recently played a half-time exhibition match with Waterford in Semple Stadium. Shane is an avid Waterford supporter and recently won the U13 Div 2 football county title with his club, Lismore.
