U10 hurlers progress at Ballyduff Tournament

Lismore U10 hurling team have qualified for the knockout stages of the annual Ballyduff Tournament after overcoming strong challenges from Ballyduff, Watergrass­hill and Fermoy. They will play Holycross/Ballycahil­l in the semi-final this Saturday at 10am in Ballyduff. Best of luck.

FUNDING BOOST FOR WATERFORD PROJECTS UNDER COMMUNITY RECOGNITIO­N FUND

A much welcome funding boost has been received for the Lismore Community Centre under the Community Recognitio­n Fund in Waterford. This will enable the upgrade of facilities in the community centre and allow our fellow clubs and associatio­ns within the town to enjoy the centre. Currently, Lismore Badminton Club, Blackwater Athletic Club, Acrobatic Rock n' Roll Irish Associatio­n, Lismore AFC Girls, Lismore Tennis Club, Eric O'Sullivan Fitness, FÁS and Lismore GAA use the centre.
