GIRLS FOOTBALL

The league are hoping to have a girls league up and running for next season with U10, U12, U14 and perhaps U16. Already we have clubs that are catering for girls, but we hope that more clubs will get involved next season.

NEW FACES WELCOME

The league committee are delighted to see some new people ready to come on board the schoolboys/girls league committee. This will help the league going forward as the girls are now stepping up in big numbers and we will also have people to come on the committee to help with organising the girls league.

The committee are hoping to do a better job this coming season with the cup competitions. Many cup finals were scattered this season but this will be sorted for the coming season.

SPONSORS

Without sponsors, this league would not survive and we thank all the following sponsors for their help this season. They were Synergy Credit Union, Fermoy; East Cork Oil; Round Tower Hotel, Ardmore; Nissan Motors, Fermoy; Avondhu Press, Mitchelstown; Edward Pollard Stoneworks; Applegreen Service Station, Piltown; Fraser family, Flexible Connectors.

REFEREES

Thanks to the referees for their help and we are looking for more young boys or girls who may like to take up the whistle for the coming season.
