Heartbreak for Grade II men at Munster Winter League final
On Sunday our Grade II men travelled to Catholic Institute in Limerick for the Munster Winter League final to take on a reputably strong team from Limerick Lawn. It was an extremely hard-fought battle. The lads came back from being 2 down going into the second matches to draw 2-2. Forcing the exciting super doubles, Owen and Denis taking to the court, it was neck and neck throughout the set. Going 4-5 after four deuces and 3 match points. Unfortunately the set finished 4-6 to the Limerick side. The narrowest of margins. We are extremely proud of the team and their terrific cam
paign through the league.

TABLE QUIZ
On Friday last we held a fundraising table quiz in Jackie O’Brien’s, it was very well supported and a great night was had by all. Thanks to everyone who supported us on the night. Thanks to everyone at Jackie O’Brien’s for the great venue and fabulous hospitality. Thanks to the wonderful quiz master Mark Noonan for such a fun, challenging quiz.

A new term of coaching with head coach Stephen McInerny continues, with almost 50 participants over four sessions.
JUNIOR NEWS
Our junior afterschool coaching sessions continue every Tuesday and Wednesday lead by head coach Stephen McInerney. Our junior matchplay tennis continues every Sunday morning. Red ball 5-8years 9.30am to 10.30am. Orange/Green Ball 9-12years 10.30am-11.30am. New members welcome to come along and try it out.
