‘Championship Preview Night’ this coming Saturday
Kilworth GAA players are proud to present their “2024 Hurling Championship Preview Night” fundraiser at The Firgrove Hotel, Mitchelstown this coming Saturday evening, March 23rd at 7pm. We are thrilled to have on the panel All-Ireland Senior hurling winning captains Mark Landers, Anthony Daly and Seamus Callanan, three-time AllStar and GPA Hurler of the Year Dan Shanahan and Limerick legends, brothers TJ and Donie Ryan in attendance to discuss the upcoming 2024 Championship.
Join our expert panel to hear what they have to say about their chances and predictions. This star-studded event promises to be a great night out for every kind of hurling fan and is one that’s not to be missed. Tickets cost just €25 and are available from Pat O’Brien, Kieran Lane, Liam Whelan or Brian Sheehan. Music afterwards will be provided by upcoming local music sensations Ellie O’Brien and Colin Landers. Ticket sales have proven to be extremely positive to date, so be sure to get your hands on one fast!
REBELS’ BOUNTY DRAW
The deadline for the Rebels’ Bounty draw is fast approaching with the first draw taking place next Thursday, March 28th which includes January, February and March and has a grand total of 90 prizes on offer. This helps clubs raise vital funds and it is a proven major fundraising activity for our club with 100% of all proceeds collected over the allotted quota going directly back into the club. Tickets cost €100 (10 draws + 2 draws free), and you can enter through the club (contact any executive committee member) or online. All money raised from the draw will go towards our future club development due to commence this coming April which is not only for Kilworth GAA club but also for Kilworth Camogie, Kilworth Ladies Football and the entire Kilworth Community. All support is greatly appreciated.
CLUB LOTTO
There was no winner of this week’s lotto jackpot of €9,400 held on Tuesday, March 19th, the numbers drawn were: 14, 17, 18 and 21. The lucky dip winner of €50 was John Dineen c/o Centra. The lucky dip winners of €25 each were Sabrina Ahern c/o online, Colette Boland c/o online, Amanda Fitzgerald c/o online. Next week’s jackpot on Monday, March 25th is €9,600.
Tickets cost just €2 each or three lines for €5 and they are available online, in the local business outlets or from your usual local sellers. As always, we would like to thank you for your ongoing support.
MUNSTER SENIOR HURLING CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS
Tickets for any of the upcoming 4 Munster Senior Hurling Championship fixtures are now available to purchase through the club for fully paid-up adult members only. The fixtures are Cork v Waterford on April 21st, Cork v Clare on April 28th, Cork v Limerick on May 11th and Cork v Tipperary on May 19th.
All names and fixture requests can be sent via email to secretary.kilworth.cork@gaa. ie or by text message to 0876647238 on or before next Monday, March 25th at 6pm. Any names received after this period won’t be accepted.
