Veneration of the Cross, Ballylooby at 7.30pm. Holy Saturday, March 30th - Individual private confession­s - Ballylooby 3-6pm. Easter Vigil Mass: Blessing of Pascal Fire -Ballylooby at 7.30pm. Easter Sunday Masses: March 31st - Dawn Mass (outdoor) Tubrid at 7.30am (first time), Duhill Church at 9am. Ballylooby Church at 10.30am.

DUHILL COMMUNITY COUNCIL DAFFODIL DAY

Duhill Community Council’s annual Daffodil Day in aid of the Irish Cancer Society is reschedule­d for Sunday next, Easter Sunday from 9am to 12 noon. Tea, coffee, cake sale, etc. and super draw always one of the highlights of the year. Your support will be much appreciate­d.

BALLYLOOBY/DUHILL LOURDES COMMITTEE

The above group will hold their annual church gate collection at Easter weekend Masses on 30/31st March.

DUHILL ENTERTAINM­ENT

In aid of Ballylooby/Duhill Lourdes Invalid Fund and Clogheen Day Care Centre in Duhill Community Hall, Duhill entertainm­ent will showcase local talent coming on April 10th and 11th.

County Football League Div 3 result: Ballylooby/Castlegrac­e 5-11 Killenaule 1-08. South U13B football result: Ballylooby/Castlegrac­e 1-04 Mullinahon­e 0-03. The team now moves forward to a quarter-final in two weeks time.

SYMPATHY

The death occurred of Maureen Lonergan, late of Ardfinnan and Cork. We extend our sympathy to her sisters Anne Hanrahan, Kathleen English and extended family.

The death also occurred of Ned Finn, Ballyporee­n. We extend our sympathy to his wife Mary (nee Kennedy), son William and daughter Vera, grandchild­ren and extended families.
