BAKE SALE/COFFEE MORNING

Eimear O’Brien and Chloe Conroy would like to thank all who supported their cake sale/coffee morning in Ballyorgan on Sunday, 7th April. The morning was a great success, they raised €725. The girls are raising funds for the Camino walk in Spain in aid of Cliona’s Foundation. We wish them the best of luck.

EAR ACUPUNCTUR­E

Ear acupunctur­e starting in Ballyorgan in the Ballyhoura Mountain Lodges V35DN84 on Wednesday evenings in April. This is a wonderfull­y relaxing group therapy. Benefits include improved sleep, improved clarity and focus and a general sense of wellbeing.

The summer draw will commence on Friday 10th May and continue on 7th June, 5th July, 2nd August and 6th September. 1st prize €500; 2nd prize €200; 3rd prize €100; 4th prize €100; 5th prize €100. Special bonus prize of €250 - There will be a special bonus prize of €250 on the night of the first draw for all fully paid subscripti­ons. Subscripti­ons are €20 per month. GLENROE BALLYORGAN ACTIVE GROUP

Chair yoga will continue in the hall every Tuesday morning from 9.45am to 10.45am. A two day away break has been organised for Wednesday and Thursday 24th and 25th April. We will visit St. Brigid’s Parish Church, Kildare and the relic. A light lunch after at the Silken Thomas Restaurant. In the afternoon a visit to the Solas Bhride Centre to see the Lantern and Holy Well. At 5pm we will leave for dinner and accommodat­ion to the Johnstown Estate. Thursday 25th, after breakfast we will leave for Farmleigh House to get a guided tour at 10.30 am at 12.30pm we will leave for Kildare Village for some shopping. Later we will leave for dinner at the Horse and Jockey, Thurles on way home. We should be home at 8pm. The total cost is €260 per person sharing. A single supplement of €50 is required for those preferring a single room. Please put your names into Mary Coffey 087-2361786 as soon as possible with a deposit of €50. Final payment by 12th April. Refreshmen­ts at Farmleigh if required are not included in this price.
