Galtee Gaels Club na nÓg would like to thank Conor Moriarty and his team of coaches from both the men’s and ladies club who volunteered their time to organise and run this year’s hugely successful Galtee Gaels Easter Camp. Great fun was had by all participants.
LIMERICK V CORK SENIOR TEAM
Well done to Bob and Tommy Childs who represented Limerick when they took on Cork in the first round of the championship last Sunday. All at the club were delighted to see club member, Conall Ryan who represented Limerick at half-time in the senior game at Páirc Ui Chaoimh and also Aoife Noonan who represented the ladies club. Congratulations to all.
MR BINMAN U17 FOOTBALL LEAGUE
Galtee Gaels took on neighbours Ballylanders on Wednesday, 3rd April in absolutely horrendous conditions weather-wise. This year Sean Casey, Eoin McNamara, John Quane and Martin Casey are coaching this team. All the extra training paid off as Galtee Gaels came out the winners. Final score 1-9 Gaels 0-7 Ballylanders. Well done lads.
LIMERICK MINOR FOOTBALL V TIPPERARY
This match was held in Fethard on Tuesday, 2nd April. Galtee Gaels were represented by Sean O’Donnell and Sean Gallahue. Both boys did their club proud. This team have another game this week in Ballyagran and Eoghan Fitzgerald will step up and represent Galtee Gaels. Best of luck Eoghan. Well done all round.
CHURCH GATE COLLECTION
Mercy Hospital church gate collection will take place in Kilbehenny on Saturday and Sunday, 13th and 14th April. Your support would be greatly appreciated.
