Memories are made of this

-

Long after the day is over and you look back, you will always have the album to “ooh” and “ahh” over, to show to your children and grandchildren and to just remind you every once in a while of your special day.

Ask any married couple and they will tell you just how important the right photos are. The bride and groom are always so busy on the day it’s hard to take it all in, but looking at the photos will remind you of how you looked walking down the aisle, the look on your partner’s face and of course the funnier moments on the dance floor that you may have missed.

The worse scenario of any day, besides the bride or groom not showing up, is probably the photographer and cameraman not turning up, or worse still, for the pictures not to turn out alright.

They are many reputable photographers in the area (a few of whom are featured on this feature) who can record your wedding, so shop around and find someone you feel comfortable with.

Most couples choose to have a variety of photos taken, some classic and others more relaxed. A mixture of photos will help portray the beauty and happiness of the day and create the perfect future album.

Again the decision on colour has to be thought about; black and white makes fantastic classic photo, while colour brings out the fun and more informal look. A mixture of the two is probably the best option.

All eventualities should be planned for, especially the weather. Make sure you have a backup place for taking pictures inside if it rains.

There are some fantastic photographers in the area that are only too willing to make your special day one you will remember in the future.
