With an ambitious fundraising target set for the 10th anniversary of the Better Life Cycle 2024, organisers hope to smash the half a million mark in funds raised for St Joseph’s Foundation, Charleville over the period since the charity cycle’s inception.

Benefiting children and young adults with disabilities and their families in the Charleville area, this year’s event, titled ‘The Comeragh Cruise,’ takes place on Saturday, 1st June, with two routes for those willing to take to two wheels, both starting and finishing in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary.

The Blue route is 180km in length and goes via Carrick-on-Suir, Kilmacthomas (with refreshments), Dungarvan, Cappoquin, the Vee, Clogheen and Ardfinnan. The Red route of 85km leaves Clonmel and goes via Ballymacarbry and joins the red route at Cappoquin where there is a refreshment stop, organised by volunteers, before the finish line back in Clonmel.
