U10 boys start season
Our U10 hurlers got their year off to a good start on Saturday morning, travelling to Carrigtwohill. Difficult conditions for the boys as they had to play 4 games in sunshine and they’re not used to that this year, with rain and mud being more par for the course.
Well done to the boys who as usual gave their all and worked hard and more importantly enjoyed themselves. Thanks to Carrigtwohill for hosting and all the parents for travelling to support the boys.
U16 SEASON OPENER
Our U16 boys got their Rebel Óg Coiste Premier 2 campaign off to a winning start on Monday evening, with a hard fought win over Ballincollig. The narrowest of margins separated the teams at the final whistle but the lads acquitted themselves well, making the step up to P2 for 2024. Final score Watergrasshill 0-14 Ballincollig 2-7.
LOTTO
There was no winner of the lotto jackpot this week. Numbers drawn were 7, 8, 21 and 32. Lucky dip winners, who each receive €30 each are Darragh O’Callaghan, Rachel Patton, Karen O’Mahony and Hanora Linehan. Congratulations to you all. Next week’s jackpot is €11,400 and draw will take place on 22nd April in The Hut Bar.
