2024 Cork Rose selection campaign now underway

-

The Cork Rose Centre hosted an information session for entrants on April 12th in Rochestown Park Hotel. Kate Shaughnessy, 2023 Cork Rose, was there on the night to offer words of wisdom to some of those hoping to represent Cork at the 2024 International Rose of Tralee Festival, taking place from August 16th to 20th.

The Cork Rose Centre greatly appreciates all support received from Cork businesses across the county over the years. There are many ways a business can become a sponsor of the Cork Rose. On the selection night on June 8th a raffle will be held in aid of Autism Assistance Dogs Ireland, charity partners of Rochestown Park Hotel. Businesses can contact the team at the email below if they would like to support the raffle.

Various social events will be held over the coming weeks for the Cork Rose entrants and the team welcome new businesses across the county who could help in the running of these events.

Applications are still open for the 2024 selection and sponsoring an entrant is a fantastic way to advertise a business, whilst also giving a young woman a great opportunity to take place in the Cork Rose Selection.

For more information, please contact corkrosecentre@roseoftralee.ie. With applications still open and those eligible can apply online at www.roseoftralee.ie.

If you know someone that would be the ideal candidate to represent Cork, the Cork Rose Centre will be hosting a Zoom webinar on Thursday, April 18th at 19.30.

The 2024 Cork Rose will be chosen in Rochestown Park Hotel on June 8th.
