Smashing results in the Golden Vale Tennis Challenge final
A glorious day in Kilfeacle, Tipperary last Saturday for the Golden Vale Challenge finals. There was a fantastic representation from the club in the finals. A massive congratulations to our finalists. The Golden Vale Tennis Challenge 2024 spanned 14 weeks of intense competition with over 200 players competing.
Well done and thanks to Kilfeacle Tennis Club for running such a great event. Congratulations to our winning members.

MUNSTER WINTER LEAGUE
On Sunday last our Grade 3 team of Micheal Rea, Marie O’Neill, Ray Hurley and Catherine Baker played at home vs St Annes of Waterford in the quarter-final. A great sporting day of tennis with fierce competitive matches, it was anyone’s game. Unfortunately, our team bowed out of the league after a closely fought day of tennis, only a point in it with St Annes winning 3-2. Well done to all on a great campaign and representing the club in Munster.

ADULT COACHING
Adult coaching with head coach Stephen McInerney for all levels, beginner, intermediate and advanced continues this week with all sessions full. Best of luck and welcome to all beginners.
ENJOY TENNIS PROGRAMME
This programme continues every Friday evening 6pm-7pm. It is a programme for players with a disability to learn and enjoy playing tennis. All welcome.
JUNIOR NEWS
As part of the Tennis Ireland Junior kids regional tour the club will host an U8 Red ball event this Saturday. Entry is by tournament software. Our junior afterschool continues every Tuesday and Wednesday lead by head coach Stephen McInerney. Full details available on the club website. Well done to Méabh Cremin, who played in the TI Junior Kids orange ball tournament in Carrigaline last weekend.
