DARKNESS INTO LIGHT BALLYDUFF

Ballyduff Upper Darkness into Light 5k walk will take place on May 11th from St. Michael’s Hall, sign in at 4am and walk will start at 4.15am. Please wear a high vis jacket. PARENT AND TODDLER GROUP

The numbers drawn for Tuesday, 23rd April were 16, 28, 29 and 30. There was no winner. The lucky dip winners of €30 were Shauna Hannon, Ellen Daly, Maeve Daly and Pad Joe and Mary Ahern. The next draw is on 30th April with a jackpot of €11,400.

Tickets are available from Bridget’s Hair Salon, An Síbín, The Log Cabin, Eugene Flynn, Shane Hannon and online. They are also available after Mass on Sunday’s across from the church. Sinéad Design and Crafts in the newly restored Storehouse is also now selling Lotto tickets. To purchase online, search for Clubforce, register and search for Ballyduff Upper GAA or download the Clubforce App, create an account and search for Ballyduff GAA. BUS SERVICE

The bus service is still available in the village. Please call Austin O’Brien on 087-2256666 to book your space. On Friday, it goes to Dungarvan, departs River Action at 9.30am and leaves Dungarvan circa 2pm.

Every second Tuesday alternates to Youghal or Midleton departing River Action at 9.30am and leaves the destinatio­n at 1pm. This service is run by Local Link, free for those with a travel pass and €5 for anyone else.

Also, the “Booze Bus” service is available every Saturday night. Get picked up and dropped home for only €6 return. Spaces must be prebooked. Call Austin O’Brien on 087-2256666 to book your seat!
