PILGRIMS PATH AND HOLISTIC WALK

The inaugural launch of the first Glen of Aherlow Pilgrims Path and Holistic Walk will take place on Saturday, May 4. Participants will be bussed from the church car park in Galbally to the starting point (instead of starting at Rock an Tarabh Car Park). The walk will now start at Christ the King Monument, Glen of Aherlow.

This is a 12k moderate walk with an option of doing 9k. More details of registration will be posted on www.hillwalkingradioclub.com and www.aherlow.com

THE GAME OF 45

Fancy a game of 45? The game of 45 takes place in the following places each week at 8.30pm. Ballinvreena on Monday nights, Knockcarron on Tuesdays, Ballylanders on Wednesdays.

Galbally Community Council, the cards 45 and poker which was held on Sunday nights has stopped for the summer season. Thanks to all who attended and supported it. The cards will commence again in Galbally in October, hope to see you then. So your support is very much appreciated for all those card games.
