T.O. Park trip to Donegal all set

This Sunday, May 5th 106 happy people will depart in two packed coaches on the long awaited trip to lovely Donegal.

Here are the details. Coach 1 will pick up in Fermoy at Cork Road at 6.50am, then at the swimming pool at 7.00am and at Blackwater Motors at 7.05. It will then proceed to the square in Kilworth picking up there at 7.10am. From here it will head to the Square Mitchelstown to join coach 2. Both will pick up there at 7.20am. Next stop will be T.O. Park at 7.30am, Ballylanders at 7.40am and Hospital at 7.45am.

Next stop then will be O’Sullivan’s Hotel, Gort where, manager Mary will treat us to a breakfast included in our tour package.

After breakfast our next stop will be the shrine at Knock. Here we will have the 12.00 noon Mass in the basilica with time afterwards to visit the Chapel’s Shrines and shops in Knock.

Back on our coaches we will then head straight to beautiful Bundoran beside the silvery sea. In this lovely setting our hotel will be the famous four star Great Southern with a fine beach and walks on its doorstep.

After check-in we will relax before dinner at 7pm. After dinner there will be live music and dancing.

When the dancing is over we will have the hugely popular sing song and storytelling conducted as always by T.O. This always goes down a treat.

Note: This will be the formula for each evening in the hoteldinner at 7pm, music and dancing, sing song, storytelling then bed.

Note also a full programme covering each day of our stay will be handed to each guest as they board the coaches on Sunday.

So here’s to Donegal, roll on the good times yet again. Let’s all have fun and live like there is no tomorrow. Here we go, on we go and away we go onwards and upwards.

T.O. PARK ANNUAL SMA TRIP TO KNOCK

This year it will take place on Saturday, May 25th just four weeks away. This is the special SMA day in Knock and a great day to visit. Our coach will pick up in Cork Road, Fermoy at 6.50am and at the swimming pool at 7am. It will then proceed by way of Kilworth to Mitchelstown where it will be Hospital at 7.45am.

Our first stop will be O’Sullivan’s Hotel, in Gort where we will be served a full Irish breakfast. On the way back that evening we will have evening dinner with choice of main course, dessert and tea/ coffee. We will have a full day in Knock to attend all the ceremonies, soak up the atmopsphere and do some shopping. The breakfast, dinner and coach comes in at a cost of €70 per person, same as last year.
