Not our night

-

On Wednesday 24th our U14 girls played Ahane in Ballygiblin. This was a very competitive game, with both teams displaying great skill and taking some excellent scores. There was nothing between the teams. It wasn't our night, with Ahane taking the win. The girls are improving with every match. Thanks to Ballygiblin for the use of the pitch.

On Friday 26th our U12 girls travelled to Ahane where they took on two Ahane teams. The girls put in a fantastic effort and showed off their football skills. The girls won 1 and lost 1, well done girls, a great team performance. We're improving with every outing.

On Friday evening our U8 and U10s travelled the short distance to Lisvernane to play a blitz. The girls put in a great performance. They all enjoyed themselves and showed off their skills. Thanks to Lisvernane for a great evening's football.

On Sunday our U15s took part in the division 1 Féile, held in Martinstown. The girls played four matches, round 1 Galtee Gaels 2-3, Monaleen 0-0, round 2 Galtee Gaels 3-4 Feonagh Castlemahon 2-4, round 3 Galtee Gaels 2-1 Knockainey 2-4. The girls played in the final against Ahane, this was a very competitive match between two good teams. A fantastic effort was put in by the girls, we had the hardest draw in the Féile. Unfortunately not our day with Ahane winning the final. Galtee Gaels 1-3 Ahane 3-3. What a fantastic bunch of girls, the future is looking bright.

Junior B ladies are out on Saturday away to Knockainey at 7pm, all support appreciated.
