ICA TOUR

The ICA tour for 2024 takes us to the sunny south east when we visit Tramore and the Japanese Gardens on Tuesday, 11th June. We will be leaving Kilbehenny roughly 9.30am and heading for Tramore. The evening will be spent in Waterford city. On the way home, we will stop off in Cahir for our evening meal in Cahir House Hotel. The price of the above will be determined by the number of people travelling. Further informatio­n can be had from Mary on 087-2422660.

HOLY COMMUNION

Best of luck to the boys and girls from Kilbehenny National School who will make their First Holy Communion on Saturday, 4th May. Please God the sun will shine for the boys and girls. Have a lovely day all.

BINGO

Bingo continues every Sunday night 8pm, doors open 7.30pm and good money to be won. Thank you to all bingo supporters who turn up to play Sunday night after Sunday night. Your support is very much appreciate­d.

GALTEE GAELS CLUB NA NÓG

Galtee Gaels GAA Healthy Club initiative successful­ly ran Safe Talk, a 3.5 hour Suicide Prevention workshop last Thursday evening. This workshop was kindly facilitate­d by Louise Morris of the Suicide Prevention Office, Limerick. Well done to all participan­ts.

LIMERICK SENIOR HURLING

Congratula­tions to John Kiely and the Limerick team on their victory last weekend over Tipperary. Continued good luck in their game against Cork.

Last Friday night, 26th April saw Galtee Gaels U17 v Oola on home ground. A well-played match which saw Galtee Gaels emerge the winners on which were very slippery conditions underfoot due to the rain
